News Flash!! Hello everyone!! I’m back and 6 years older than I was! Wow! Time warp!! Anyway I am now officially 12 years old now and ready to continue with my very awesome and excellent and ingenious… Blog!! Sorry if I scared you but I am soooo ready and soo excited to continue with this blogging business!!
Anyway lets go back six years in life and catch up on ourselves… SO we were still in White Rock, Vancover, BC were we not? Alright then so we moved out of white rock at the ripe old age of grade 2 whatever age that is but anyway and we followed Daddy’s work into Black Mountain, Kelowna, BC. Teeny weeny Kamile and I went into grades 2 and 3 at the local Black Mountain Elementary School and a new dance school downtown which I think was called Kelowna Ballet School I’m not sure.
So all of this moving schools happened while living in a rented basement on the mountain with of course can’t leave them out, our dear Mummy and Daddy. Soon we, well Mummy and Daddy decided that, hey in a village nearby there are some houses for sale and they aren’t even that far from Daddy’s work in Kelowna! So we, well Mummy and Daddy bought a rundown in downtown Vernon, BC!
So we had to move (so sadly, we totally didn’t want to move out of the very cramped basement totally and I am totally being sarcastic right now, of course if you couldn’t tell) into the new, very old house. Along with that came switching schools, both schools. and did you know that there more or less 10 dance schools in the whole of teeny weeny Vernon!? So I think we tried 3 before we decided that the Okanagan School of Ballet suited us, oh and guess what the best part is! The Okanagan School of Ballet was 3 blocks away! Walking distance! Oh and like actual school well that was easy enough the nearby elementary school Alexis Park was also walking distance! So like LOTS of walking for us! Did I emphasize on the lots? Well anyway it wasn’t really that bad because every thing was just around the block!
You know how I said that our new, very old house was a rundown? Well it was most definitely was a rundown. There was even a campfire in the middle of the kitchen FLOOR! It SORT OF started having work right away and a year and a half later bye bye rundown!(not really) And we are off to the very very extremely small community of Lavington!(BC) But we still sort of own the now house in Vernon so we can work and work but not really work on it.
By this time I was in I think the last term of grade 4. Oh and we moved schools again to Lavington Elementary (but not dance schools if you were wondering. Lavington is definitely not that big!). So yes the teeny weeny community of Lavington has a very teeny weeny community of children too! of 150 students oh ya and including teachers JK! not just the neighbors! Which includes like everyone! okay now back to school, guess what! I had just earned straight A’s in the last 2 terms! So the last term of grade 4 ended in some B’s but mostly A’s and into the summer we went. Not so weeny Kamile and I learned how to paint and put up walls. We got quite a few things done that summer in the Vernon looking better than ever.
Now entering 5 grade and a new teacher Ms. Butte. So that year went by relatively slowly but it was fine and the house got even more finished. For grade six, my most recent year in school, I had my first ever man teacher! He goes by the name Mr. Wandler. He was probably the best teacher I have ever had in my entire long life. I would tell you about my entire year with him but would take a overly generous amount of time and space so I’ll just tell you that he was so awesome that he even made math fun. That’s how awesome he was. Right now I’ve got 5 days until school starts and I am overly excited. Also I have no idea who my teacher is and I am SOOO excited for my last year of elementary school if I didn’t already say that!!!
